KUNSTENPLATFORM PLAN B

Kunstenplatform PLAN B is looking for members for the General Assembly

About PLAN B

Kunstenplatform PLAN B is a nomadic and transdisciplinary organisation that explores and portrays rural spaces. We believe that the rural landscape is a dynamic field of tension undergoing transformation, the themes of which remain under-explored. We foster collaborations, bringing together artists, experts and local residents with a focus on the local, the small-scale and experimentation.

About our General Assembly

Like any General Assemby (GA) of a non-profit organisation, this one has a number of statutory duties, such as approving the annual accounts and budget. The GA ensures that the governing body functions effectively and is essential for a healthy non-profit organisation.

In addition, we also want the GA to serve as a feedback group. We meet twice a year, and members of the GA have the opportunity to have their say on the course of PLAN B.

Who are we looking for?

Kunstenplatform PLAN B wants to shape the future of its operations together with a diverse group of people. That is why we are looking for:

  • People living in rural areas. Whether as a resident, for work, or because you have a strong connection to the area in some other way.
  • People active in sectors other than the arts (such as agriculture, education, youth work, social work, etc.)
  • Artists who work in rural areas or on rural themes.
  • Anyone who would like to help shape the direction of Kunstenplatform PLAN B.

Does this appeal to you? If so, we warmly invite you to sign up. No experience is required.

What do we offer?

You’ll gain an insight into how a cultural organisation works from the inside, gain experience in board work and strategic thinking, and contribute to the future of Kunstenplatform PLAN B. This role is unpaid.

Interested?

Please complete the Google Form by Sunday 6 September at the latest. We will invite a shortlist of candidates for a personal interview in October.

Not sure if your profile is a good fit? Please feel free to contact Leontien Allemeersch
