KUNSTENPLATFORM PLAN B

Becoming Terrestrial - Tim Theo Deceuninck

For Fieldwork III, Tim Theo Deceuninck investigated the industrial landscape around the Scheldt estuary. This research resulted in the publication Becoming Terrestrial, published by SO-RI.

Tim Theo uses holes in the landscape as the basis for a camera obscura, which he then uses to photograph the landscape itself. In fact, his alteration of the landscape enables the landscape to photograph itself.

In addition to the publication, Tim Theo also wrote a text, designed as a poster. This can be ordered here free of charge.

The third edition of Veldwerk, the rural research project of Kunstenplatform PLAN B, concluded with a collection of publications. May Abnet, Tim Theo Deceuninck, Ánima O. Cassamajor, Nina de Vroome and Barbara T'Jonck each created a record of their research. Together, they offer a range of possibilities for (re)imagining the rural.
