Fieldwork III meeting: Barbara T'Jonck

Throughout the Fieldwork programme, the group meets at regular intervals. Each artist takes turns inviting the others to a moment of exchange, at a location that is relevant to their research at that time.

Barbara T'Jonck is conducting artistic research into collective rural housing as part of her fieldwork. To this end, she visits various types of residential communities at home and abroad, including the Welenhoeck in Herzele. In March, she took the entire group to this place to give them an insight into the ins and outs of such a community, the motivations of its residents, living together with each other and the neighbourhood, and the broader research she is conducting.
