Guided tour of Haren

In March, the artists involved in the Village Dramaturgy project gathered in Haren, the workplace of Aulona Fetahaj and Ewoud Vermote. They were given a guided tour by Fabienne, a committed local resident. She is co-founder of Solid'Haren, a non-profit organisation that aims to strengthen the community of Haren through collective vegetable gardens, and she showed the group around the many vegetable gardens that Haren has to offer. A reminder of its rural past, but also a form of resistance: where there are vegetable gardens, there will be no new construction projects (at least for the time being).
