What does this anonymous army of pickers think about, and what do they talk about during these long hours of repetitive work?
These stills provide a small glimpse into the fieldwork of Ciel and Max in Hoogstraten.
Artists-architects Ciel Grommen and Maximiliaan Royakkers are fascinated by the story and role of seasonal workers in our community. As part of PLAN B/Fieldwork, they are exposing the international network of a fruit company with Communicating Vessels. Together, they are working on an installation that marks this exchange both here and in the guest worker's home country.
