Aulona Fetahaj
Aulona Fetahaj (she/her) was born in Kosovo, grew up in Bruges, now lives (mainly) in Brussels and works everywhere between Belgium and Kosovo. She studied film at Sint-Lukas Brussels, where she made the films She Asked Me Where I Was From and her graduation film passé imparfait, for which she also received a VAF Wildcard. In addition to being a filmmaker, she works as an editor and sound engineer on various projects. In her films, she explores an understandable (cinematic) language to talk about notions of home and displacement, and how time and memory play a role in (re)building identities.
