OHT - Office for a Human Theatre

In the heart of the Italian Alps, some 2,000 metres above sea level, a diverse group gathers every summer: artists, scientists, thinkers and doers. They participate in the Nomadic School, an alternative learning environment that breaks down boundaries between disciplines and focuses on horizontal learning, mutual inspiration and pedagogical freedom.

The publication A Nomadic Book was born out of this context: a living document that reflects and deepens the Nomadic School's approach. The book explores how artistic practices are shaped by the mountains — as landscape, as idea, as living matter. It brings together voices from the performing arts, architecture, ecology, geology, sound art, dramaturgy, visual and literary arts, and anthropology.
