In an exploration of the intersection between audio and theatre, Nele created the performance Dit Gebeurt Niet (This Is Not Happening): an underground audio investigation into your smallest particles. There is nothing to see, but all the more to experience... During the performance, your sight is taken away, sharpening your senses. Just like seahorses, the hands of the blind audience dance around each other. In small movements. Fingers search for each other, cautiously. Will there be a touch? And what does that mean? Because at the atomic level, nothing has happened at all...
