KUNSTENPLATFORM PLAN B

Timo Sterckx & Mats Vandroogenbroeck

THE ATOMISTIC MANIFESTO

Our Atomist Manifesto will kick down unopened doors.
The boundary between dream and reality has been on the verge of collapse for far too long.
We, atomists, are now pushing forward.
Foot forward, ready to break through that dam!

Mats and Timo soon discovered their shared interest in philosophical and (pseudo)scientific works in which logic and illogic go hand in hand. Inspired by surrealists such as André Breton, Salvador Dalí and René Magritte, they wrote their own loud manifesto and cobbled together a series of avant-garde acts. A deadly serious Cabaret Voltaire, balancing between (pseudo)science, dreams and clownery.
