For PLAN B, Chloé Geers created a site-specific dance performance in a shell house. During her residency week, she familiarised herself with the space and choreographed a duet for an interchangeable stranger. For each performance, she relied on the audience, who took turns playing the role of her dance partner.
BIO
Chloé Geers (born 1991, Belgium) began dancing at MUDA, Kunsthumaniora voor Muziek & Dans (Ghent), after which she obtained a bachelor's degree in Choreography at the Fontys dance academy (Tilburg, Netherlands). As a creator and dancer, she is a member of Collectief Elan(d), whose 2017 performance In between spaces was shown at Theater aan Zee, among other venues. She is also active as a dance teacher and draws inspiration from the beauty of the imperfect human being, as well as from the sincerity of movement.
