Inne Eysermans
Have you always wanted to know what Bekegem's nightlife sounds like? Silent fields or a more vibrant atmosphere than you might expect? For a week, Inne listened intently to Bekegem's nightlife. After conducting some field research among the residents to find out what sound characterised Bekegem for them, she set to work herself. On her quest, she collected the most intriguing sounds, which she crystallised into electronic soundscapes. In combination with a text by writer Saskia De Coster, they construct an audio story from the twilight zone through audio and text.
BIO
Inne Eysermans (born 1988, Belgium) studied Music Production at KASK Ghent and quickly became known as the frontwoman/songwriter of Amatorski. In recent years, Inne has focused increasingly on the role that sound can play in performance and theatre. Through the experimental use of tapes, samplers, synths, loop stations, distortion and imitation, she creates soundscapes that enable her to study the relationship between humans and the sounds of their environment. In the meantime, Inne has been in residence at Het Bos (Antwerp), created performances at LOD music theatre and, together with artist friends, made shows for The Word Radio.
