Eva Donckers
SCULPTURE STORIES (WORKING TITLE)
During her residency week, Eva immersed herself in the domestic atmosphere of the Bekegem residents. Together with them, she searched for all kinds of objects, which she then photographed in a new composition. Against an abstract background, this arrangement takes on sculptural allure, and the photograph becomes a snapshot of a collective event. In this way, she develops a multidisciplinary method combining photography, sculpture and assemblage, as an exploration of intimacy and playful ways of encountering one another.
