Kim Snauwaert & Anyuta Wiazemsky

Anyuta Wiazemsky (born 1989, RU) and Kim Snauwaert (born 1986, B) met during their studies in Autonomous Design at KASK Ghent. To this day, they share the project Tussen Ons (Between Us), which is not only a marriage but also a transdisciplinary artistic journey. Both artists deliberately create 'enough' love to prevent either of them from being deported. This work consists largely of the attempt to see each other often enough and is thus a balancing act between reality and fiction.

They pour all their recordings into publications, performative acts, videos and exhibitions. Their engagement was on display at Croxaphox (Ghent), they pored over the marriage documents during HOOGTIJ/laagtij (Gouvernement, Ghent), they will celebrate their wedding party on 3 August at Theater Aan Zee (Ostend) and the fictional documentary about their honeymoon is scheduled to be shown at Kunstencentrum BUDA (Kortrijk).

In Bekegem, they gave a glimpse into their life as newlyweds and presented a vivid picture of their current situation.
