Sergeant

Sergeant is the musical project of theatre maker Ferre Marnef, accompanied live by Jasper Segers and Benjamin Cools. Built around lo-fi beats, guitar and synth, the Brussels trio creates a sound that can perhaps best be described as hyperkinetic weird. The group was formed this year and has only played a few gigs, but has already managed to cause quite a stir. Or so says an anonymous comment on their Facebook page: "If there was an award for the strangest act, Sergeant would definitely deserve it. What was that all about?" Curious? So are we.
