Area

Areaal is a learning network that focuses on artistic practices outside the city. In 2022/23, Areaal will consist of the AR-TUR platform for architecture and space, the GINTER intermunicipal partnership, arts space for co-creation, craftsmanship and diversity Manoeuvre & laboratory for contemporary transdisciplinary art nadine, loose-knit arts collective Seasonal Neighbours, practice for soft power and radical imagination DEVET and the performative-spatial collective TAAT. 

Each meeting will be thematically organised by one of the participants, who will share their practices and experiences with artistic work outside the city with each other and the affiliated artists. This will create a fabric of shared knowledge about art and the rural environment.
